Cadillac Man Arrested for Aggravated Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

CADILLAC, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Dayne Alexander Scott, 34 of Cadillac, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.

Scott was arrested after an investigation request from the Michigan Department of Corrections. During an examination of seized devices, child sexually abusive material was discovered on Scott’s cell phone.  

Scott was charged with six counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, one count of using a computer to commit a crime, and habitual offender third offense. Scott was arraigned in the 84th Judicial District Court on Friday, July 10.

The Michigan ICAC Task Force was assisted by the Michigan Department of Corrections.
