JACKSON COUNTY, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Aaron Ryan-Scott Spicer, 37 of Hanover, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
Spicer was arrested following an investigation which was initiated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the ICAC Task Force when it was learned that Spicer may have accessed and shared illicit content on the internet. A search of his residence resulted in digital evidence being seized.
Spicer was charged with two counts of child sexually abusive material – aggravated possession, and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. Spicer was arraigned in the 12th District Court of Jackson County on Friday, July 24.
