DEARBORN, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Mochtaba Ahmed Alabudi, 19 of Dearborn, for child sexually abusive activity, possession of child sexually abusive material – aggravated, and using a computer to commit a crime.
Alabudi was arrested following an investigation which was initiated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the ICAC Task Force when it was learned that Alabudi may have distributed illicit content on the internet and enticed others to commit self-harm. A search of his residence resulted in digital evidence being seized.
Alabudi was charged with one count of child sexually abusive activity, four counts of possession of child sexually abusive material – aggravated, and five counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Alabudi was arraigned in the 19th District Court of Dearborn on Wednesday, September 23.
