2025-04-01T00:00:00Z 2025-05-15T23:59:00Z Outdoor Adventure Center - 10th Anniversary OAC Sticker Contest

Tuesday, April 1 – Thursday, May 15

Calling all artists! This is your chance to create a sticker design for the Outdoor Adventure Center’s 10th anniversary. Your design should celebrate the OAC community, programs or an experience you’ve had at the OAC. What does that mean? It’s up to each artist to interpret!

A team of Outdoor Adventure Center staff and community members will vote on designs and narrow them down to finalists. The public will vote on the finalists May 25-31. Winning designs will be printed and given away during our Birthday Week in July!

Contest guidelines:

Create and submit an original work of art using the contest design template linked to below. Your design should celebrate the OAC community, programs or an experience you’ve had at the OAC.

Please do not submit artwork that includes copyrighted characters or graphics. The OAC will not consider artwork with copyright infringements in the final vote.

A winning design will be selected in each of the following categories:

  • Ages 5-12.
  • Ages 13-17.
  • Ages 18-plus.
  • Department of Natural Resources staff.

Submissions may be in any art medium (illustration, pen, photography, etc.). Submissions can be physical works of art or digital graphics. Designs submitted online should be high-resolution, if possible, at least 300 dpi. The following design formats will be accepted: .jpeg, .png, .ai, .eps, .psd and .pdf.

Entry requirements:

  • Multiple entries per person are allowed; you must submit a separate entry form for each entry.
  • Submissions must follow the height and width proportions included in the contest design template.
  • Design content must be appropriate for all ages.

Entry instructions:

A contest design template will be available soon, to download or pick up a print copy at the OAC. Review the template and dimension requirements. All designs must adhere to the height and width proportions of the sticker (3 by 3 inches).

The template file will print out larger than the actual sticker dimensions, for ease of designing directly on the template. The OAC will scan and scale down the artwork to fit the actual size of the sticker when we receive your submission.

You may recreate the template on your home computer, but you must keep the dimensions the same to ensure the entirety of your design will fit on the sticker.

All submissions are due by midnight on May 15. Physical entries can be submitted at the OAC front desk. A signed entry form must be submitted with each entry to be considered. The entry form will be available soon.

Digital entries can be uploaded using the online submission form (available soon), which includes a signed acknowledgement. You do not need to upload an entry form is you are submitting your design using the form.

Winning designs will be announced by June 15.
