Did you know archery is an excellent sport for all ages? It helps build physical strength, enhances stability and sharpens focus! In this one-hour archery program, you will safely handle a compound bow, practice proper stance and experience shooting several rounds of arrows.

During this program, participants must be able to hold a 4-pound compound bow with the arm extended and be able to pull back the string to the corner of your mouth with your opposite arm for a minimum of 10 seconds. During registration, you will be prompted to include any accommodations, requests or other information that will help our staff support you. Staff will contact you one week prior to the program.

Participants must be age 50 or older. Close-toed shoes are required. Please review the Outdoor Adventure Center’s archery regulations before attending a class.

Preregistration is required. Cost is $12 per person.
