Schedule a Presentation

Thank you for your interest in the OK2SAY student safety program.  We offer customized age-appropriate programming designed to protect children throughout the state.  Presentations may be in-person or online depending upon the availability of the team.

4th – 5th Grade:  The presentation discusses important rules for being safe and responsible online.  Students learn to distinguish between rude, mean, and bullying behavior, as well as how to respond to cyberbullying effectively.  The students are introduced to the OK2SAY student safety program and encouraged to talk to a trusted adult when they see or hear about something that is not right.

6th – 8th Grade:   Students learn the purpose of the OK2SAY tipline and how tips are processed.  Students are encouraged to examine their behaviors and make safe and healthy decisions when faced with many issues affecting their friends and peers.  Topics include bullying, cyberbullying, mental health, self-harm, suicide warning signs, sexting, sexual abuse, and the dangers of predators.

9th – 12th Grade:  Students are empowered to stand up for student safety by reporting threatening behaviors in a way that keeps the student safe.  The program focuses on the issues students face including bullying, cyberbullying, mental health, suicide warning signs, self-injury, sexting, dating violence, sexual abuse, the dangers of drugs and alcohol, and threats of violence.  Students are reminded to pay attention to what is going on around them.  If they see something that does not seem right, students are encouraged to step up and speak out.

Once we receive your request, our coordinator will review your preferences.  You will be contacted by one of our presenters to schedule your presentation(s).  Many schools prefer to conduct one presentation for all three grade levels, maximizing instruction time.  The ZOOM platform can accommodate most schools in this manner however if you choose to separate the grade levels, every effort will be made to accommodate your scheduling needs.

We have also provided templates that include:
