WHEREAS, Be The Impact Day serves to inspire Michiganders to create positive change in their communities and in the lives of their neighbor; and,
WHEREAS, we encourage all Michiganders to work individually, with their community, or with local organizations to make positive changes in the lives of others; and,
WHEREAS, Michiganders are encouraged to observe Be The Impact Day by engaging in a day of community service; and,
WHEREAS, together we can Inspire, Lead, and Achieve positive change in our communities by #BeTheImpact in the Great Lakes State;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Gretchen Whitmer, governor of Michigan, do hereby proclaim November 2, 2022, as Be the Impact Day in Michigan.
