NOTE: The Pfizer and Moderna vaccine are approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in persons 12 years and older. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are authorized under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) to prevent Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in persons aged 6 months through 11 years. The emergency use of these products remains authorized beyond the ending of the Federal Public Health Emergency because the circumstances in Section 564(b)(1) continue to exist until the termination of relevant section 564 declarations under section 564(b), or revocation of the EUAs. This applies for tests, other devices, treatments, and vaccines.
