LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the following appointments to the Board of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons, the Emergency Telephone Service Committee, and the State Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Commission.
Board of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons
Brian Huggler of Lansing, currently a real estate broker with Tomie Raines Inc. He succeeds Laurie Bush whose term has expired. Huggler is representing real estate brokers and salespersons and is appointed for a term expiring June 30, 2007.
Kyrian Nwagwu of Lathrup Village, currently a processing specialist for AKZO NOBEL Coating, Inc. He succeeds Edward Marsilje whose term has expired. Nwagwu is representing the general public and is appointed for a term expiring June 30, 2007.
These appointments are subject to advice and consent of the Senate.
Emergency Telephone Service Committee
John F. Hunt of Belleville, the associate director of public safety solutions at SBC Communications. Hunt is representing the general public and is re-appointed for a term expiring June 30, 2005.
Scott Temple of Highland, the senior engineer facilities planner for Cingular Wireless. Temple is representing mobile radio services and is re-appointed for a term expiring June 30, 2005.
These appointments are not subject to advice and consent of the Senate.
State Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Commission
Kenneth Gembel of Clio, currently working with the environmental services staff at General Motors. Gembel is representing commercial or industrial facilities with more than 300 employees and is re-appointed for a term expiring April 11, 2006.
Kenneth Murray of Farmington Hills, currently a sub-contractor with Local Union 58 Electrical Workers. Murray is representing local emergency response agencies. He succeeds Arthur Lenaghan whose term has expired and is appointed for a term expiring April 11, 2006.
Grace Ranger of Goodrich, the homeland security director for Genesee County Emergency Management. Goodrich is representing local emergency management programs. She succeeds Gordon Van Gelder whose term has expired and is appointed for a term expiring April 11, 2006.
