Governor Granholm Makes Appointments to Board of Ethics

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm announced the recent appointments of Frederick P. Dillingham and Paul M. Yedwab to the Board of Ethics. The board is authorized to receive citizens’ complaints concerning alleged unethical conduct by a public officer or employee and to inquire into the circumstances surrounding those allegations.
Dillingham, of Fowlerville, is the executive director of the Economic Development Council of Livingston County and former State Representative (1979-1986) and State Senator (1987-1994). Mr. Dillingham is appointed to represent Republicans for a term expiring February 7, 2008. He succeeds Wendy S. Anderson whose term has expired.
Yedwab, of Commerce Township, is the Rabbi of Temple Israel, the state’s largest Jewish congregation located in West Bloomfield. Rabbi Yedwab is appointed to represent independents for a term expiring February 7, 2008. He succeeds Bernard J. O’Connor whose term has expired.
