Governor Granholm Announces Recent Appointments to Child Support Leadership Council

LANSING - Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the following recent appointments to the Child Support Leadership Council:
David Leyton of Flint, Genesee County prosecuting attorney, is appointed for a term expiring April 11, 2012. He succeeds Verlie Ruffin whose term has expired.
Jeffrey Sauter of Grand Ledge, Eaton County prosecuting attorney, is reappointed to represent nominees submitted by the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan for a term expiring April 11, 2012.
The Child Support Leadership Council advises the governor and the Supreme Court on development and implementation of strategic goals for improving services to Michigan families.
These appointments are not subject to disapproval by the Michigan Senate.
