LANSING, Mich. - Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Richard Reynolds, of Grosse Pointe, and the reappointment of Christina Eyers, of Plymouth, to the Michigan Board of Athletic Trainers.
The 11-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with overseeing the licensure and practice of athletic trainers.
"I am confident that Richard and Christina will do great work on behalf of Michigan's more than 1,000 athletic trainers," said Snyder.

Previously, she held various leadership positions with Central Michigan University and served as an instructor and as assistant athletic trainer at Saginaw Valley State University. Eyers earned a bachelor's degree in movement science from the University of Michigan, a master's degree in health studies from the University of Alabama and a Ph.D. in educational leadership from Central Michigan University. She will continue to represent athletic trainers.
Appointees will serve four-year terms that commence Jan. 1, 2013 and expire Dec. 31, 2016. Their appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
