Gov. Rick Snyder makes reappointment to the Investment Advisory Committee

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointment of Reginald Sanders of Portage to the state's Investment Advisory Committee.
The committee reviews investments, goals and objectives of the state's various retirement funds. It may submit recommendations to the state treasurer, or direct the state treasurer to dispose of or enter into investments.
"I am confident Reginald will continue to do great work on behalf of the people of Michigan," Snyder said
Sanders is the director of investments for the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and was previously a manager of pension investments at Eastman Kodak Company. He serves as a professional and career mentor for students who are recipients of the Robert A. Toigo Foundation fellowship. Sanders holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida A&M University and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
Sanders will serve a three-year term expiring Dec. 15, 2018. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
