Gov. Rick Snyder makes reappointments to the Board of Barber Examiners

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointments of Eric Dimoff of Williamston and Perry Vitto of Canton to the Board of Barber Examiners.
The nine-member board is housed in the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and assists the department with oversight for the services of barbers, barber students, barber colleges, barber instructors, student instructors, and barbershops in Michigan.
“These two individuals will do great work on this commission, and I thank them for their willingness to serve," Snyder said.
Dimoff is the director of marketing and communications for the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. He previously served as an account executive for Marketing Resource Group Inc. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. Dimoff will continue to represent the general public.
Vitto is a barber and the manager of Arbor Hill Hair & Body Salon in Ann Arbor. He has more than 40 years of experience in the barber industry including 12 years of managerial experience. Vitto attended Henry Ford Community College and graduated from City Barber College. He will continue to represent barbers.
Members will serve four-year terms expiring Sept. 30, 2020. Their appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
