Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Matthew McFadden of East Lansing to the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy.
The 11-member board advises and assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with overseeing the practice of physical therapists.
“I thank Matthew for his commitment to assist in the oversight of Michigan physical therapists and I am confident he will have a positive impact on this board,” Snyder said.
McFadden is the clinical director at Peak Performance Physical Therapy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in health fitness and a master’s degree in physical therapy from Central Michigan University. He will represent physical therapists and replace Jill Marlan.
McFadden will serve a four-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2020. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
