Lt. Gov. Calley: GM and Honda announcement shows Michigan leading the way in automotive technology

Lt. Gov. Brian Calley issued the following statement after participating in GM and Honda’s announcement regarding the production of an advanced hydrogen fuel cell system in Brownstown Township, MI:
“Michigan continues its leadership with advancements in automotive technology and today’s announcement by GM and Honda proves it. The partnership between these two automotive giants shows their commitment to our state and the possibilities that exist when doing business in Michigan – the global automotive capital.
“This fuel cell technology holds transformational potential for the mobility industry. I applaud GM and Honda for working together to develop and manufacture new innovations while creating jobs for Michiganders.”
