Gov. Rick Snyder makes reappointment to the Michigan Board of Respiratory Care

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointment of Jeremy Bainbridge of Grand Rapids to the Michigan Board of Respiratory Care.
Housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the 11-member board assists in overseeing the licensure requirements and standards for Michigan's respiratory therapists.
"I thank Jeremy for his continued commitment to this board and I am confident he will bring positive inputs that can improve the respiratory care field in Michigan," said Snyder.
Bainbridge is the director of Respiratory, Oncology, and Wound Services at Spectrum Health United and Kelsey Hospitals. He is an executive board member for the Michigan Society of Respiratory Care and a member of the American Association of Respiratory Care. Bainbridge holds an associate’s degree from Northwestern Michigan College, an associate’s degree from Muskegon Community College, and a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University. He will continue to represent respiratory therapists.
Bainbridge will serve a four-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2020. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
