Gov. Rick Snyder makes reappointments to the Michigan Board of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointments of Patrick Dean of DeWitt and Ronald Zupko of Brighton to the Michigan Board of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons.
Housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the nine-member board oversees the licensure and practice of real estate brokers and salespersons in Michigan.
“I thank Patrick and Ronald for their continued commitment to overseeing the real estate broker and salesperson profession in Michigan,” Snyder said.
Dean is the vice president of Dean Transportation & Dean Charters and Tours, Inc., and also serves as director of business development and special projects and support services coordinator. He was elected as director for the Board of Directors of Trailways Inc. Dean also serves as board president for the Information Technology Empowerment Center and is an executive board member of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. Dean holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Michigan University. He will continue to represent the general public.
Zupko is an associate broker with Re/Max Platinum in Brighton and has nearly 25 years of real estate experience. He previously worked for Partners Real Estate Professionals, Keller Williams Realty and served in the U.S. Navy for four years. Zupko is a former president of the Livingston County Association of Realtors. Zupko holds an associate’s degree in architectural construction technology from Henry Ford Community College. He will continue to represent professionals.
Members will serve four-years term expiring June 30, 2021. Their appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
