Gov. Rick Snyder makes reappointment to the Michigan Collection Practices Board

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointment of Thomas Oldani of Ann Arbor to the Michigan Collection Practices Board.
Housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the nine-member board licenses and regulates collection agencies operating in Michigan.
"I thank Thomas for his continued commitment to this board," Snyder said.
Oldani is the vice president of Arbor Professional Solutions, Inc., formerly Ann Arbor Credit Bureau Inc, where he has worked for more than 25 years. He is past president of the Michigan Association of Collection Agencies and is the 2003 recipient of the association's Annual Presidents Award. He holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies from the University of Michigan and is a graduate of the Midwestern Management Institute at Indiana University. Oldani also holds a Credit and Collection Compliance Officer designation through ACA International. He will continue to represent professionals.
Oldani will serve a four-year term expiring June 30, 2021. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the state Senate.
