Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Michigan Board of Pharmacy

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Mary Ann Victor of Shelby Township to the Michigan Board of Pharmacy.
Housed within the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the 11-member board is responsible for regulating and inspecting the practice of pharmacy and drugs manufactured and distributed in the state.
"I thank Mary Ann for her service to this board and ensuring pharmaceutical distribution is closely monitored," Snyder said.
Victor is president of MAV Associates, LLC., and previously served in the roles of vice president, chief administrative officer, and general counsel for Somanetics Corporation. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. She will represent the general public and replace Pamela Bufe-Wyett.
She will serve a four-year term expiring June 30, 2021. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
