Gov. Rick Snyder makes reappointment to the Detroit Financial Review Commission

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointment of Stacy Fox of Detroit to the Detroit Financial Review Commission.
The commission was created by the “Grand Bargain” legislative package to ensure both the City of Detroit and the Detroit Public Schools Community District meet statutory requirements, including reviewing and approving budgets, and establishing programs and requirements for prudent fiscal management, among other roles and responsibilities.
“Stacy has done a great job keeping the city and school district on track financially and I am confident she will do great work in her next term,” Snyder said.
Fox is senior vice president and general counsel for DuPont as well as founder and principal of the real estate development and investment firm, The Roxbury Group. She is a member of the executive committee and chair of the stakeholder committee for the Downtown Detroit Partnership. Fox holds a bachelor’s degree and law degree from the University of Michigan.
She will continue to serve as the nominee of the Senate Majority Leader, and will continue to represent individuals who have knowledge, skill, or experience in business, budgeting, revenue forecasting, debt management or borrowing, actuarial science, law, or business.
Fox will serve a four-year term expiring November 9, 2021.
