Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Saginaw Valley State University Board of Control

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Bhushan Kulkarni of Saline to the Saginaw Valley State University Board of Control.
The eight-person board is the governing body of the university.
"I believe Bhushan’s background will be a great asset to this University and I thank him for his commitment to this school," Snyder said.
Kulkarni is the founder and CEO of the software company InfoReady Corporation and the IT consulting firm GDI Infotech, Inc. He also serves on the board of directors for Ann Arbor SPARK and leads the organization’s Foreign Direct Investment Committee. Kulkarni holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Mumbai University in India and a master’s degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from West Virginia University. He will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Patrick McInnis.
Kulkarni will serve the remainder of an eight-year term expiring July 21, 2023. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the state Senate.
