LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointments of Laura Colligan of Holt and Alan Sonnanstine of Canton to the Michigan Public School Employees’ Retirement System Board.
The board is responsible for general oversight of retirement, survivor and disability benefits to employees in public school districts, intermediate school districts and certain community colleges and universities.
“I thank Laura and Alan for their dedication to representing active and retired school employees,” Snyder said. “Their work on this board will ensure Michigan educators and their families receive their benefits after their time in education is finished.”
