LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Molly McLogan of Grand Rapids to the Michigan Board of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery.
The 11-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with overseeing the practice of more than 8,200 osteopathic doctors.
"I thank Molly for devoting her time and skills to this board,” Snyder said. “The work she and the board does ensures Michiganders continue to receive exemplary medical care.”

She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Albion College and a master’s degree in public administration in nonprofit management and leadership from Grand Valley State University. She will represent the general public and fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Kathryn Hoover.
McLogan will serve the remainder of a four-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2019. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
