Gov. Rick Snyder makes reappointments to the Michigan Film Office Advisory Council

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointments of Niki Adams of Holt and Bill Ludwig of Birmingham to the Michigan Film Office Advisory Council.

Housed within the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, the 14-member council advises the Michigan Film Office, Governor and Legislature on how to promote and market aspects of the state's film industry.

"I thank Niki and Bill for continuing to serve on this council," Snyder said. “They have shown exemplary work in the past, and I look forward to seeing their impact on this council over the next few years.”

Adams is a new media instructor for the Ingham Intermediate School District Wilson Talent Center and has been teaching digital arts for 20 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Spring Arbor University and a master’s degree in career and technical education from Wayne State University. She will continue to represent broad areas of film and motion picture making, production of television programs and commercials and related industries in Michigan.

Ludwig is a marketing consultant and the CEO of LUDWIGPLUS, LLC. He previously served as the CEO of the Campbell Ewald Advertising Agency and holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University. He will continue to represent residents of this state and serve as council chair at the pleasure of the Governor. 

Members will serve four-year terms expiring Sept. 30, 2022.
