- Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. or 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Includes
- Reserved seating space in the cafeteria for 2 hours for up to 50 participants. This includes set up and clean up. Party hosts may arrive 30 minutes before reservation time to set up.
- The space is a partitioned area in the cafeteria with 8 tables (8’ x 30") and 50 seats (combination of chairs and benches), along with additional tables designated for gifts and food. The other section of the cafeteria remains open to the public during your party.
- Admission to the OAC for all party guests to enjoy the building exhibits after the reserved party time, until the facility closes at 4 p.m.
We encourage you to make the most of your reserved party space during your rental period. We recommend serving food and cake before heading out to explore.
- An OAC staff member will be available to assist with guest direction and help ensure that your party runs smoothly.
- A 2-gallon water dispenser and cups will be available for your convenience.
Not included
- Food service. Party hosts may bring in food from a restaurant of choice (pizza and sub trays are commonly recommended for ease). Party hosts are responsible for providing all serving ware, utensils, plates, and napkins. Due to time and space constraints, food must arrive ready to serve; we are unable to accommodate chafing set-ups (warming trays/sternos), microwave, refrigeration or freezer needs.
- Decorations. Table décor is permitted; however, balloons of any kind (including Mylar) and confetti are not allowed. No decorations or materials may be affixed to walls or facility surfaces.
Pricing
- OAC members: $300 (plus $100 deposit) with valid OAC Family Membership. (The member discount will appear once the request is submitted. An annual family membership can be purchased for $65 for up to five members of the same household. Please complete membership purchase before requesting a party date).
- Non-members: $400 (plus $100 deposit)
- Deposit and payment details: $100 security deposit is required along with full payment of party fee within 2 weeks of reservation approval. The security deposit will be refunded within 4 weeks after the date of the party as long as space is in the same condition as arrival. The space must be vacated by the end of the rental period, otherwise the security deposit will be forfeited.
- Parking: $5 per car available in the gated lot located off Atwater Street, east of the OAC. Parking fees cannot be invoiced at the OAC. Free street parking may be available on side streets west of the OAC.
Refund policy for birthday parties
- Cancellation requests made more than 4 weeks in advance of the scheduled reservation will forfeit the deposit but will be refunded the rental fee.
- Cancellation requests made less than 4 weeks in advance of the scheduled reservation will forfeit the deposit and the rental fee.
- Date changes can only be accommodated if requests are made more than 4 weeks in advance of the scheduled reservation.

**Party room availability is based on several factors and is not limited to the online calendar. Your online request will be approved once it is reviewed against all factors. The birthday party area is for use by registered parties only and is the only space in the facility where birthday parties are allowed.
