Outdoor Adventure Center - Active Aging Adventures Senior Stroll: On the Go With MoGo
Outdoor Adventure Center - Active Aging Adventures Senior Stroll: On the Go With MoGo
9-10 a.m. OR 10-11 a.m.
Join a naturalist for a casual stroll through one of our state parks or local historic areas. For each stroll, we’ll focus on a topic related to natural or cultural history. Wear your walking shoes and dress for the weather – we’ll go out rain, snow or shine!
Instead of walking, this month we’ll have a chance to check out MoGo’s biking resources, including tandem models (bring a friend!), and give them a spin along the Dequindre Cut. This program has limited capacity, so it is divided into two sessions: 9-10 a.m. and 10-11 a.m. Register for just one of the sessions. If the sessions fill, sign up on the waiting list and we’ll accommodate as many folks as we can!
Adaptive MoGo offers cycling options for riders of all abilities! With 17 cycles, including recumbent tricycles, upright cargo tricycles, hand tricycles, tandem bicycles, tandem tricycles, side-by-side quadricycles and a box-bike, Adaptive MoGo accommodates a wide range of rider needs. View MoGo’s Adaptive cycles at https://mogodetroit.org/adaptive-reservations.
This is an outdoor event held rain or shine; please dress for the weather.
Preregistration is required. This is a free outdoor event.
