Harrisville State Park

Harrisville State Park is set along the sandy shores of Lake Huron. The park is home to a day-use area nestled in a stand of pine and cedar trees, a modern campground, a designated swim beach, trails, overnight lodging options and more. Established in 1921, it is one of Michigan's oldest state parks.

The 2-mile paved Heritage Trail runs north and south through the park and connects to Harrisville via Third Street.

The park is within walking distance of the resort town of Harrisville, close to Negwegon State Park, and located along Michigan's Heritage Route 23. Discover the wonders of Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary! Rain or shine, dive into interactive exhibits or set sail on a glass-bottom boat to explore fascinating shipwrecks.
