Michigan Air National Guard Commander and Assistant Adjutant General - Air
Colonel Daniel J. Kramer II was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General and assumed the role of Assistant Adjutant General – Air (ATAG) and Commander of the Michigan Air National Guard on October 1, 2024. Brig. Gen. Kramer has served with distinction in a variety of operational and staff positions throughout his career. He has commanded at the squadron, group and wing levels and has deployed multiple times in support of Operations Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He has also served as the Chief of Combat Operations at the 603rd Air Operations Center, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, and the Commander of the 110th Wing, Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, Michigan.
