If you served in the Michigan National Guard (Army or Air) you may be entitled to a retirement benefit from the State of Michigan. You must meet the following criteria to qualify:
- Separated from service
- Age 55 or older, and
- Have served a minimum of 19 years, 6 months, and 1 day of active National Guard service in the State Defense Forces and the Michigan National Guard.
