CROWN: April 2021 - Community Engagement Division
The Protect Michigan Commission is seeking first-person video narratives regarding COVID-19 protective and vaccine use/importance to help establish more trust in the vaccine and safety protocols among Michigan residents.
To participate, shoot a personal experience video on your phone about what you are facing 1 year into COVID-19. These do not have to be "professional" videos, but should reflect your experience and expectations. What are you waiting to return to? Why is getting the vaccine important? Who in your life would benefit? What do you want to see happen? The only script is please include or incorporate that wearing a mask, washing hands, avoiding crowds and maintaining social distancing remains important. The videos can feature you, a family member or friend.
Videos should be between 1 and 2 minutes in length and, if selected, will be used on various social media channels. The Commission has stressed keeping it real and personal as people respond most effectively in their conduct and norms when they can identify with the people and the message.
If you would like to participate, please contact Mark Bishop at bishopm3@michigan.gov.
