BOARD RESCHEDULES HEARINGS FOR GREEKTOWN CASINO, LLC
At the request of the applicant, the Michigan Gaming Control Board today adjourned proceedings in the public investigative hearing for Greektown Casino, LLC, originally scheduled to begin today. The hearing proceedings have been tentatively rescheduled for Tuesday, May 23, 2000, and Friday, June 2, 2000. More information regarding this hearing will be available no less than two weeks prior to May 23, 2000.
Greektown Casino, LLC, is an applicant for one of three authorized casino licenses in Detroit. The purpose of the hearing is for Board members to receive evidence from the applicant and Board staff regarding the suitability of Greektown Casino, LLC, to be granted a casino license.
