Detroit, Dec. 18, 2018 - The three Detroit casinos reported $117.6 million in aggregate revenue during November, gaining both a 4 percent increase from November 2017 results and a 1.4 percent increase from October results. Year-to-date revenue was 2.5 percent above results for the first 11 months of 2017.
Compared with November 2017 results, revenue rose at MGM Grand Detroit and Greektown casinos and fell fractionally at MotorCity Casino. MGM revenue increased 7.9 percent to $52.4 million. At Greektown, revenue climbed 3.4 percent to $27.2 million. MotorCity reported $38 million in revenue for a fractional 0.5 percent decline.

The three Detroit casinos paid $9.5 million in gaming taxes to the state of Michigan during November compared with $9.2 million during November 2017.
The three casinos reported making $18.9 million in wagering taxes and development agreement payments to the city of Detroit during November.
