Michigan iGaming, online sports betting operators report $313M in February revenue

DETROIT, March 17, 2026 — Michigan commercial and tribal operators reported $313.0 million in combined internet gaming (iGaming) gross receipts and online sports betting gross receipts in February, down 12.2% from January 2026.
Monthly Gross Receipts
February iGaming gross receipts totaled $273.1 million, while online sports betting gross receipts totaled $39.9 million.
Monthly Adjusted Gross Receipts
Combined adjusted gross receipts (AGR) totaled $287.5 million for February, including $262.1 million from iGaming and $25.4 million from online sports betting. Compared to January 2026, iGaming AGR declined 8.5% and sports betting AGR fell 31.2%. Year-over-year, iGaming AGR increased 25.4%, while online sports betting AGR decreased 6.7%.
Monthly Handle
The online sports betting handle totaled $384.7 million, a 21.7% decrease from January 2026.
Monthly State Taxes and Payments
Operators submitted $55.6 million in taxes and payments to the State of Michigan in February, including:
- iGaming taxes and fees = $53.9 million
- Online sports betting taxes and fees = $1.7 million
Monthly City of Detroit Taxes and Payments
The three Detroit casinos reported $13.4 million in wagering taxes and municipal services fees paid to the City of Detroit in February, including:
- iGaming taxes and fees = $12.8 million
- Online sports betting taxes and fees = $587,194
Monthly Tribal Operators’ Payments
Tribal operators reported $6.96 million in payments to governing bodies during February.

As of February 2026, 15 commercial and tribal operators have been authorized to offer iGaming and/or online sports betting in Michigan. Currently, 12 operators offer online sports betting, and all 15 offer iGaming. Detailed results by operator are available on the MGCB website.
