Purses With a Purpose - Lakeview

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and the MSP Lakeview Lake Post is participating in Purses With A Purpose, to collect gathering new or gently used purses filled with comforts to benefit survivors of sexual assault.

Donations can be dropped off at the Lakeview Post, during the month of April, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. when the lobby is open.

Additionally, donations can be drooped off at Montcalm Community College in Sidney and Greenville, Ionia County Sheriff's Department, Montcalm County Sheriff's Office and Parker-Hannifin Corporation.

Suggested donation items include paper products, cleaning surprise, non-perishable food items, hygiene products, health care and first aid items, household items, new clothing, journals, notebooks, tape, permanent markets and Dial-a-Ride tokens.

All donations will benefit the RAVE women's domestic violence shelter.
