Section eight of the Michigan Student Safety Act requires an annual report be prepared and filed with the governor, the secretary of state, the clerk of the house of representatives, the clerk of the senate standing committee on appropriations, and the clerk of the house standing committee on appropriations.
It also requires that the report be maintained on the department's webpage.
OK2SAY encourages confidential tips on criminal activities or potential harm directed at students, school employees, and schools. The program was launched on September 2, 2014.
