Budget and Operations Administration (BOA)

The Budget and Operations Administration (BOA) is responsible for a variety of employee services and divisions that assist the Department. A Deputy Director oversees the BOA, which includes Human Resources, Training, Legal Affairs, Accounting, Procurement, and Budget and Projections. 

The BOA is also responsible for Research and Planning, Physical Plant, and Michigan State Industries, which makes an assortment of products for prisoners and local governments.
