Building Trades - Carpentry

Program Information

Students are given instruction in core competencies such as safety, construction math, blueprint reading and the proper use of hand and power tools, before progressing into carpentry.

In the carpentry modules, students learn floor, wall and roof framing, as well as instruction on door and window installation. Credentials are offered through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and Career Connections. Students may also earn an OSHA 30 Construction Safety certificate as part of this program. Participants can also complete the Forklift certification.
