It will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Dale Foltz Training Center, Jackson.  The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 23, 2004, to consider the possible parole of Michael Ward, #128267.


He was sentenced on May 8, 1981, from Washtenaw County. Michael Ward is serving a sentence for delivery of cocaine.


John S. Rubitschun, Chairman of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234(6).


Under the Lifer Law, those serving life sentences for a crime committed prior to Oct. 1, 1992, other than first-degree murder or certain drug law cases, must serve ten calendar years before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
