The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 23, 2005 It will be at  , to consider the possible parole of Philip Jesse Whitenton #199813. 9:00a.m. at the Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility, Training Room, Ionia, Michigan.

 

He was sentenced on Philip Whitenton is serving a sentence for delivery of cocaine over 650 grams. March 10, 1989, from Macomb County.

 

John S. Rubitschun, Chairman of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234(6).

 

Under the Lifer Law, those serving life sentences for a crime committed prior to Oct. 1, 1992, other than first-degree murder or certain drug law cases, must serve ten calendar years before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
