The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 , to consider the possible parole of Fernando Gonzalez, #169143. It will be at 10:00 a.m. at the Grandview Plaza, 206 East Michigan Lansing,MI 48933.
Fernando Gonzalez is serving a sentence for Possession of Cocaine W/I To Deliver 650
Grams or More. He was sentenced on May 14, 1982, from Wayne County.
John S. Rubitschun, Chairman of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234(6).
Under the Lifer Law, those serving life sentences for a crime committed prior to Oct. 1, 1992, other than first-degree murder or certain drug law cases, must serve ten calendar years before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
