The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 It will be held atparole of Richard Stewart, #230648., to consider the possible  9:00 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility (JCF) , 3500 N. Elm Road, Jackson, MI  49201.
 
Richard Stewart is serving a sentence for Delivery of a Controlled Substance 650 grams or more. He was sentenced on April 4, 1989 from Oakland County.
 

John S. Rubitschun, Chairman of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234(6).

Under the Lifer Law, those serving life sentences for a crime committed prior to Oct. 1, 1992, other than first-degree murder or certain drug law cases, must serve ten calendar years before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
