The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole Board.
 
Robert Jones is serving a Life sentence for Murder 1st Degree.   He was sentenced on January 21, 1959 from Wayne County. 
 
The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Robert Jones, #085781.  It will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Duane Waters Hospital, Jackson, Michigan.
