The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 1, 2007, to consider the possible parole of Patrick Bell, #203249. It will be at 10:30 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility, Jackson, Michigan.
Patrick Bell is serving sentences for Delivery of Cocaine over 650 grams, Delivery of Cocaine 225-649 grams and Conspiracy to Deliver. He was sentenced on August 23, 1989 from Wayne County and on June 11, 1990 from Macomb County.
Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
By statute, prisoners serving a life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 ½ or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
