The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 17, 2008, to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Wilbur Scott, #114659. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility, Jackson, Michigan.
Wilbur Scott was sentenced to Life on August 12, 1965 in Lenawee County for the crime of Murder 1st Degree, and was sentenced to 6m - 5y on July 10, 1985 in Jackson County for the crime of Escape Prison.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole Board.
