Public hearing to consider the possible parole of Leroy E. Arquette, #216085.

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 26, 2009 to consider the possible parole of Leroy E. Arquette, #216085. It will be at 1:00 p.m. at the T-100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility, Jackson, MI.

Leroy E. Arquette is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Conspiracy to Deliver Cocaine Over 650 Grams. He was sentenced on April 11, 1991 from Oakland County.

Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.

By Statute, prisoners serving a life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 ½ or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
