A public hearing to consider the possible parole of Mark Bernard Tucker #218543

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 to consider the possible parole of Mark Bernard Tucker #218543.  It will be at 9:00 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility, Jackson, MI.

Mark Bernard Tucker is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Delivery of Cocaine Over 650 Grams and a Life sentence for the crime of Conspiracy to Deliver Cocaine Over 650 Grams.  He was sentenced on August 1, 1991 from Macomb County.

Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.

By statute, prisoners serving a life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 ½, or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
