The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 21, 2009, to consider the possible commutation of sentence of Henry Earl Phillips, #128597. It will be at 9:00 a.m. at the Handlon, Richard A. Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Henry Earl Phillips was sentenced to Life on March 12, 1971 from Oakland County for the crime of Murder 2nd Degree. He was also sentenced to 1y - 5y on April 2, 1975 from Jackson County for the crime of Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
