The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 28, 2009 to consider the possible parole of Terrence Moore, #219670. It will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Handlon Training Center, Richard Handlon Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Terrence Moore is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Conspiracy to Deliver/Manufacture Over 650 Grams of Cocaine. He was sentenced on October 2, 1991 from Oakland County.
Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
By statute, prisoners serving a life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 ½, or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
