The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 3, 2009 to consider the possible parole of Samuel Hughes, #145194. It will be at 9:00 a.m. at the Handlon Training Center, Richard Handlon Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Samuel Hughes is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Robbery Armed and a Life sentence (2 Counts) for the crime of Assault with Intent to Commit Murder (2 Counts). He was sentenced on May 3, 1976 from Wayne County.
Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
